Do you urgently need a computer to conduct your final year presentation? Easy. Along with repairing your broken-down devices, we are now renting you fully functioning, high-end laptops and computers for presentations, events, and conferences of all sizes.

Who can borrow a laptop or computer from Nerdorrow?

All citizens of London (students, teachers, businessmen, etc.) with relevant ID cards may borrow a laptop or a PC from our service.

How many devices are available, and what is their condition?

At the initial stage of our service, we are offering three laptop computers and three desktop computers for borrowing. We assure our customers that all our rental devices are in excellent working condition and have high-end features. In addition, our rental devices are also pre-tested for virus and configuration issues.

What software/applications are available on the desktop or laptop?

The laptop/desktop has essential assistive software such as MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and MS Office. Moreover, when you borrow a laptop from us, you can ask us to download any software or application of your choice, such as Adobe Illustrator, Turbo C, etc.

Please note that customers cannot themselves reconfigure the browser. After you return the rented laptop, all information, personal data, browser history, and software will be wiped or deleted from the computer. Therefore, it is your own responsibility to back up any necessary data that you have on the device.

For how long can you borrow a laptop/desktop?

We offer two rental plans: short-term and long-term. With a short-term borrowing service, you can borrow the laptop/desktop for one or two days. While with our long-term borrowing plan, you can hire laptops/desktops for 3-6 months or longer.

If you are unsure of how long you might require a borrowed device, there is nothing to worry about. You can contact us and cut your rental short or extend it as per your needs. We have a very friendly staff who will discuss any difference in payment with you and arrange a courier service to collect the borrowed device.

When can you borrow a laptop or desktop?

Nerdorrow strictly runs on a first come, first get basis. It is not possible for customers to reserve a laptop or a desktop. You can, however, check the availability of borrowing devices by contacting us.

You can also borrow a laptop or computer from Nerdorrow when your personal device is being repaired or upgraded by Nerds2U.

What are your responsibilities as a borrower?

As a trusted laptop/desktop borrower, you are responsible for complying with the general guidelines issued by Nerdorrow and adhering to the terms and conditions highlighted here.

You must return the borrowed device at the agreed time and in good condition. If there is any damage found to the device, Nerdorrow can charge you with a fine. Nerdorrow may also ask for a deposit along with the additional cost in case of any damage to the rented device.

As a registered borrower of a laptop/desktop, you will be held directly responsible for any damage to the device or its theft. Nerdorrow instructs you to not leave the borrowed device unattended under any circumstance. In case of theft or damage, you will be liable to pay complete repair and replacement costs for the device you rented and the additional service charges.

What do you get along with your laptop and desktop?

Each laptop computer is equipped with a power cable and a carrying case. And each desktop is equipped with essential cables, a mouse, keyboard, and a monitor.

How do You charge the laptop?

We will provide you a power cord which you can use to power the laptop. We do not ensure that the laptop you receive will be fully charged at the time of borrowing. So, you can plug it in later.

Do not try to power the borrowed laptop with your own cord, as it can seriously damage the device.

Can you save files on the borrowed device?

You can download or save files on the borrowed device, but all your personal data and downloaded applications will be deleted once you return the device. We will hold no liability for any kind of data loss. Therefore, we suggest you use a USB flash drive to save your important files.
